Bokaro Steel Plant
It was established by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. It is the oldest and the biggest steel plant of the nation. Half of the steel production of India is fulfilled by Bokaro which is a total production of about 5 million tonnes per year which is likely to be double within a few years. It is a joint venture of SAIL and DVC. Every year a huge number of tourists visit here to witness it.
Jawaharlal Nehru Biological Park
The park is the biggest zoological garden in Jharkhand which was built in the late 80s and 90s. Different kinds of animals and birds are housed here.
